GREY FOX DANCE PAVILION

(Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Dancers line up and learn

If you want to kick up you heels, learn some new steps and dance the night away to your favorite dance bands, this is absolutely the place to be! You don’t need a partner. Everyone’s welcome!

Begin your dancing day with Contras and Squares lovingly called by long-time dance instructors, John Kirk and Trish Miller with music by Fiddlestyx. They're so Old Time, they're hip!

Wait, back up a minute! The very first thing that happens at the Dance Tent each morning is a beautiful yoga session led by certified instructor, Lucy Weberling (with music by Kindling Stone). You'll be amazed at how many people will be limbering up each morning! It's a great way to wake up and get your blood flowing.

Later on, do some free-form dancing (with or without a partner) to red-hot bands like Uncle Earl, The Greencards, Gravity, Adrienne Young & Little Sadie and The Infamous Stringdusters. Woo-hoo!

Close out each night at the Grey Fox Dance Tent with the likes of the Red Stick Ramblers, The Wilders, Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys and Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers!

Don't be a couch potato! Hop on over to the hugely popular dance tent and cut a rug. We'll see you there!

PS: If you love to dance to great live bands, check out our sister-fest, Rhythm & Roots, on Labor Day Weekend in Charlestown, RI. It's New England's hottest festival of roots music, dance and food! If you love Grey Fox, you'll fall in love with Rhythm & Roots, too.

Dancers concentrate on getting down some steps

"Being [at Grey Fox] is one of the most amazing experiences. The music, the people, the beautiful sunset and the spirit are very difficult to explain to those who have not yet experienced it. It's a time to be with family, reunite with friends and to kick back and be a kid again. It's a time to be grateful to be a part of something so wonderful and to be without any worry about time or life's many responsibilities. It's an adult's playground. Come out and play!"
