Need to sell your ticket???
Occasionally ticket holders run into conflicts like some family member plans a wedding during Grey Fox (imagine that!). The festival does not offer refunds, but we do not prohibit you from selling your ticket. If you are unable to use a ticket, you may post it on our Discussion Group, Facebook, or anywhere you like. You may have potential purchasers contact the office by email for verification if necessary, AND with our Ticket Transfer option you can change the name and address to the new owner for them to print a new ticket in their name when you receive payment. Essentially what you are selling is the Ticket code.

Can't find your ticket code???
You can now find your ticket code and print your tickets by going to our ticket page: https://www.ticketinspector.com/tisystem/layouts/18/21/useraccount.asp?eventid=21 Then log into your account with your username (e-mail address) and password (you can retrieve it if you forgot it). There are prompts for printing, transferring, and editing your account. If you still have trouble, email Lisa and we will send codes to you together with the link to print your tickets. Please DO NOT CALL for this information as she can only answer your request when she is at the computer.

Smoking: Can I or Can't I?
Smoking is prohibited in all Grey Fox public performance and food areas. This includes the Main Stage Amphitheatre, Masters Stage, Dance Tent, Family Tent, Grass Roots Tent and Slow Jam Tent plus all public food preparation and service areas. The Walsh Farm is a working hay farm that will be hayed again this summer. We wouldn't want cows to get sick. Contain your butts and dispose of them properly. Thank you. We appreciate your cooperation.

What's the weather like? What kind of clothing shall I bring? And what else should I pack?
New York State in mid-July typically has very hot days that turn into cooler, and sometimes chilly, nights. Be prepared for all types of weather. Grey Fox is a very casual, outdoor experience, so be comfy. Many people start with shorts and a cotton shirt and change into long pants and sweater or jacket at night. Layers work well. We suggest you also bring the following: flashlight, rain gear, sunscreen, any medications that you need, and your camera. Above all, don't forget your ticket! Check out our What to Bring page for more suggestions.

Can we bring chairs into the Main Stage area?
Yes. In fact, you NEED to bring your own seating for the Main Stage amphitheatre. We have divided the area between the stage and the sound booth into two sections. This allows people with various style chairs to enjoy the show equally. Ticket buyers may set up chairs upon arrival. Volunteers must wait until 6:00 pm Wednesday to place chairs in the Main Stage area. You are allowed to leave your chairs in place all weekend long. You do not have to remove them at the close of the day. Here are our guidelines:
LEFT OF CENTER STAGE FROM SOUND BOOTH FORWARD
As you look at the stage from the audience, the section to the LEFT of center stage is strictly for low-backed, beach-style chairs, blankets and tarps. If we can roll a basketball under your chair, it is too high for this section. Blankets/tarps should not be more than 6x8 feet. If your chair is too high or your blanket is too large, you will be asked to leave this section.
RIGHT OF CENTER STAGE FROM SOUND BOOTH FORWARD
As you look at the stage from the audience, the section to the RIGHT of center stage is for high-backed lawn chairs. A HANDICAPPED SEATING TENT, located in this section, is reserved for HANDICAPPED GUESTS and their care providers.
FROM THE SOUND BOOTH BACK
Any type of seating is fine from the sound booth back. This includes low chairs, high chairs, blankets and tarps.
SUNBRELLAS and SUNSHADES
Sunbrellas and sunshades are permitted at the back of the Main Stage amphitheatre. If you are unsure of where sunshades are allowed, please ask our Front of Stage Crew or Security. They will be able to help you.
MAIN STAGE DANCE AREA
If the spirit moves you, there's a place for dancing in the Main Stage area. It's on the left perimeter of the amphitheatre (and is marked on the map in the program book). Please do not block the view of seated patrons.

So who's Dancin' Dave?
Dancin' Dave has a camping service for folks who don't want to lug all their camping gear with them! He'll set up a campsite for you (for a fee, of course!) He sells out quickly, so you'll have to get in touch with him early. Here's his web site!

Can my son or daughter volunteer at Grey Fox?
The minimum age for volunteers at Grey Fox is 16. First time teen volunteers must work with a parent or guardian on the same crew, same shift OR by permission of the teen's crew chief. Some crews are open to teens; others are not. To learn more or to sign up, check out our volunteer information.

Why and when did Grey Fox change its location?
In January 2008, the Rothvoss Farm in Ancramdale, NY, home of Grey Fox, Winterhawk and the Berkshire Mountain Bluegrass Festival since 1976, was sold. Our management team went into high gear and found the beautiful, lush Walsh Farm in Oak Hill. 2008 was our first year at the Walsh Farm. Special thanks to Gary and Nancy Marron for searching far and wide in Greene County and for hosting our "posse" whenever they were up in the area from Maryland looking at properties -- and to the Walsh Family, whose lovely farm we are using.
